Delete your account

Leaving? No wahala.

You can delete your BlockAm account and everything in it yourself, in the app, in under a minute. If you no longer have the app, email us instead.

In the app (fastest)

  1. Open BlockAm and go to the Settings tab.
  2. Tap Delete account & data.
  3. Enter your password to confirm.

Your account and data are deleted from our servers and from that phone straight away.

By email

Send an email from the address on your account to support@blockam.dev with the subject “Delete my BlockAm account”. We’ll reply to confirm it’s really you, then delete your account within 30 days and tell you when it’s done.

What gets deleted

  • Your account: email address, display name and account ID.
  • Your blacklist: every number and prefix you added.
  • Your blocked call history and statistics.

What stays

Nothing that identifies you stays in BlockAm. Copies may remain in our providers’ encrypted backups for up to 30 days, until those backups are overwritten.

Deleting the app alone does not delete your account. Signing out erases your data from that phone but keeps it in your account. More in the privacy policy.
